green coraline

i have coralline growing, purple and also there is a coralline that is growing but it is green not purple is this normal?

In my tank it seems that the purple grows in the well light areas and the green is in the shady areas.

I get the pale green, pale blue and pale yellow on the undersides of LR pretty much in the dark. there even seems to be several shades of grey coralline. crazy stuff. but only the pink and some purple/red grows out in the light.

between that coralline and some sponges I've seen, it gets pretty colorful under the rocks too.
