Suggest me a good 250 watt SE bulb...
I know this is a subjective question and there are comparison articals out there, but Im still having trouble deciding on a bulb.
My tank is 28"s tall, but I dont want to upgrade to 400w. I like the bluer color bulbs of 12ks and up, but I want to have enough par. Eeryone loves the reeflux 12k, but they are way dim in my opinion. On Sanjays sight, the radium 20ks are even brighter. Is there a good single ended good par bulb that is around 14k in kelvin? I like the Phoenix, but they only come in DE. The aquaconnects look really promising, but they are 120 dollars each!! Any suggestions? Im supplementing with T5s.

wont this be pretty white/yellow? I like the bluer bulbs and I wouldnt think the t5s will have too much suplimenting power over a 10k bulb

Im suprised so many people like the hamilton 14ks. I am actually using those now and feel they are pretty white/yellowish. Im using an electronic ballast. Im looking for something with a little more pop.
Im thinking of using radiums or helios. Have anyone had experience with both of these bulbs. If so, can you compare the too? Which one seem brighter, whiter/bluer. It seems a lot of the big reefers and stores like Atlantis etc use them and have great results.
