You should use 1.5x's your water volume for a feeder pump. So if you have 100g volume use a 150gph pump. As for how much skimmate your going to get each week, that depends on the bioload of the tank. I have a medium bioload and i get around 7-15cups of black sewage coffee per week. HTH

7-15 cups a week! i'm lucky to get 2! how tank is 120g so feed pump should be 180g/h right! the feed pump i have is 500g/h but would it loose pressure pumping water up for 20cm. I think i can turn back the pump so i'll try that. would to much pressure be the reason i'm not getting much scum?

What level is the water on the neck of your skimmer?

in my 120 i have about about 200lb LR and 10 smallish fish. i guess medium bioload.

thanks
