t5 lights died?
Hey all,
I just bought a t5 electronic ballast and two t5 tubes this past weekend to put into my homemade aquarium hood. It worked great the first day, being on for about 7 hours. Then yesterday, I turned it on when I got home and about an hour later I heard a shorting out electric sound and one of the tubes went dim. Then 10 seconds later the other went dim. I checked my wiring and it all looks fine and the bulbs are still on, just really dim. Does anyone have any experience with trouble shooting t5 lighting setup? Cheers, Jay |

http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=696 It doesn't say the brand name, so when I get home I will post it if this info is not enough. cheers, Jay |

It is a "5 workhorse 5" electronic ballast.
