It depends on your coral population. The more it is consumed, the more often it needs to be replenished. I don't think it matters you dose it in the morning or evening.

You want to test your calcium and alk for several days in a row, and measure how much they drop. (especially alk). Then you want to dose daily to maintain the levels. B-ionic is a daily 2 part dosing system. Once you determine your tank's daily uptake of alk, and calcium, you can use this calculator to determine how much you should dose daily to maintain your levels:
http://home.comcast.net/~jdieck1/chem_calc3.html It's best to dose it in the morning because you pH will be lower. (the alk portion raises pH). Your pH will be highest at the end of your photoperiod, so best to always dose in the morning.

You should dose the alk (partB) in the morning for the reasons stated above. Part A can be dosed at anytime but not for a few hours after dosing part B. I dose B before I go to work and A when I get in.

Actually, they can be dosed one right after the other just not at the same time, unless your params are way out of whack. Also, add it in front of a powerhead so it's quickly dispersed.

I thought that the addition of both together would reduce there potential to bind.
