I need your sage advice!!!!

I am at a loss! My tank has been set up for 5 years and is not looking good at all! The softies and fish are looking good mushrooms and leathers have good extension but ths SPS are not. The SPS are showing signs of dying back and Coraline growing on them, They do not have their usual polyp extension or color. This has been happening for the past few months and nothing had really changed. I did switch from Tropic Marin salt to Tropic Marin Pro and have now switched back.

The tank specs are:

300 gallon, closed loop, 4X175w 12K (new) MH's - 4X 96w Actinic
180 gal refugium
HSA500 skimmer
Kalk reactor (DIY) 2 months old
CA reactor

PO4=0
Nitrate = 0
Alk = 12dkh
CA = 500
PH 8.2-8.35
Temp 76-78

Bi weekly 50 gallon water changes.

The deep sand bed in both the display tank and fuge have not been changed since set up and include Fiji Mud and Southdown.

I have never been so frustrated, any thoughts would be appreciated, it will make someone a great terrerium.

Thanks!

Have you given any thought to the DSB's having reached their saturation point? There have been several discussions regarding this school of thought.
