Is this skimmer fine for a 90 gallon reef tank? Is anyone else running a simmilar setup with it? Just want some opinions before I complete my sale. |

i run the 135 on a 75 think its a bit better for this size aquarium depending on how you have it setup or what you want to keep in it

I guess the only thing holding me back is the height. I have 23" of clearance under my tank and the 135 is 24" ... I could modify my stand but I was trying to avoid that.

I have the RS100 on my 65g, had it for about two weeks now. Its a great skimmer! Euro Reef seems to think that it is rated correctly for a 100g tank, that is medium stocked. So it depends on how heavy you feed and heavily stocked your tank it. It has the same diameter as the RS135 I believe. Not sure right now if the pumps are the same.
But I think the RS100 could be fine for your tank, but the 135 may be better. |
