Upgrading

What is the best process to move a 20 gallon to a bigger tank. I had in mind to move my shrimp, and clown fish into a bucket of water I drained from the main tank. Then drian the water into a nother bucket and take the rocks out and dip wash them off in a saltwater mix that is the same temp and salinity. then I dont know what to do with my old sand. I plan on adding more new live sand with my old sand. then put my rocks in then the water and extra water, then drip my clown fish and shrimp for the new tank. Also my snails and crabs. oh yea the tank is 3 months old.

Was size is the larger tank? If any type of cycle occurs depending on how large you are upgrading to you the shrimpo might not make it. They are very sensitive.
You can use some of the old sand, but I wouldnt use all of it. Gte some base sand and then use the Livestuff to seed it.

If the sand is only 3 months old i would think you would be OK.

What type of lighting do you have? You will want to wait a few more months before you buy one.
