Will a 75g fit into a 180g Oceanic stand?

I have a 180g on a black Oceanic stand. I currently use a 3 foot 40gallon breeder tank as a sump. I'd like to increase the water volume a little more, and was considering using a 75 gallon tank as a sump. Has anyone tried to fit one in such a stand?

It should fit, depends on the stand. The 75g is 18" wide and the 180 is wider than that, 24" if i'm correct. You will just have to measure. 75g is 48"x18x22" tall

Should fit. How are you going to get it inside though without tearing down the tank? BTW, nice clownfish in your avatar.

On the 180 set up I drilled it,baffled the 75 gallon tank and siliconed in two filter sock holders one for each overflow. After It cured I had to knock out two of three back supports, place the sump in. Resecuring the supports on the bottom was a little bit of a pain and I also glued, clamped and added a few small L brackets to that just cause I'm paranoid lol and also don't forget a level You should be fine unless the tank is full, what a pain that would be!

My tank is full. I was hoping to slide it diagonally through the front double doors, slanted. Sounds like that isn't an option.

I didnt have a oceanic but i had double doors and had to know the brace out to slide a 55 under my 180 and that was a pain. dont know how much longer or wider a 75 is but i dont think it will be very easy
