Getting Green Algae

Hello all. My tank has been setup since the end of September. Ammonia, Nitrite are 0. Nitrate is around 20ppm. pH is 8.3 and Salinity is 1.023. I've noticed that I'm starting to get some green algae on my back glass and on my rocks and some other random parts in the tank. I just did a 25% water change today, and I have one Koralia 2 powerhead. Is this a bad thing?

How long do you run your lights? Is the tank near a window?Check your phosphates and silicates. Any algea eating crew? Snails, Algea blenny, or Lawn mower blenny?

I run my lights for from 10am to 10pm...and a moonlight at night. I don't have a phosphate test. I don't have any fish at the moment...clearing out the Ich. I do have two hermits...but they don't get up on the glass..obviously haha. If I did have phophates...what do you treat with?

First RO/DI water changes. Phosban reactor would work, but def. get a phosphate test kit.

I do use RO/DI for water...I'll definitely get a test though. Anything other than a reactor to treat?
