trouble with microbubbles
I am having trouble with microbubbles. I am putting together a new 150 and I have a iwaki 70rlt return pump. it returns through a 1" piece of spaflex then split to two pies of 3/4 locline. I suspect the locline is causing my problem because there is small drips at the connections. is there something I can do with it. I thought about putting some silicone grease on the connections just wondering some advise would be great.

I put a layer of Teflon tape at the connections, but you aren't going to be getting microbubbles from the return line (the pressure in the return line is greater than atmospheric which is why there is water dripping from it). You are most likely getting the air introduced in your sump somehow. Check there first so you aren't pulling all of your hair out.
