Sunpod 70w...turns off sometimes by itself?
I just bought a used Sunpod 70 DE....the owner said he only had it for about 3 months. Last night it turned off maybe two or three times by itself, but nothing else turned off. After a couple minutes I can get it to fire back up again. I have it plugged into a surge strip. Is that okay? Does it need a new bulb? I'm new to MH so I'd appreciate any input.

This is not the first time I have heard of this, I would contact current.

And perhaps try plugging it in to the outlet directly, just to see if the powerstrip is the issue.
Also, if possible, borrow another bulb.

I have the 250 watt version of the sunpod. Have had it for about 6 months now, and haven't had any issues.

It happens to mine when I bump the timer it is plugged into. No problem with the lunar lights, but mh is touchy.
