When to add CUC

I am a couple weeks into my cycle. The brown algea has started to spread. At what point do you guys start to add your CUC, after the cycle is complete or sooner?

I wait for three weeks or so of zero ammonia. Some water changes while waiting can be useful, to help improve water conditions.

Agree around three weeks after Ammonia shows zero.

Don't worry about the brown algae this will usually go away even without a crew. It's the green hair algae you should look for. As soon as green hair starts showing up add the crew or in two weeks it will be everywhere.
