JEBO ODYSSEA Lighting
HELP!!!! Any comments on Odyssea lighting systems. I'm lookin at a 48" PC 65W x 4 with 8 LED's? Have heard lots of good and bad about these lighting systems. Mostly about Odyssea Metal Halide. I'm looking for info on system without MH. Thought I would ask on here.

I had a 48 inch for my 55 gallon and it worked pretty good, but one of the fans broke like a month into it.

I had a 36" one a while before. both fans went out with in a few monthes, the bulbs they come with are junk so you will have to replace them right away, and the ballast went out 6 monthes later.

Why are you looking at PC? Any particular reason?

I have live rock with fish, no reef items. I did not think I needed anything that was very high intensity...ie. Metal Halide. Actinic and Daylight bulbs were all I thought I would need.

Either way, a T5 fixture is more efficient.

I have a 48" T5 light with 1 actinic and 1 daylight not sure on the Watts. I'm at work right now so I can not look. This is ok just does not seem to put out enough light. Should I maybe just purchase another light like the one I have. Think that would be sufficient? I also like the LED "Lunar Lights" Thoughts on those?

You should get something with at least 4 bulbs, you will be good to go.
Nova Extreme, Tek light, etc.

If I bought another light that would be 4 lights total. 2 lights per unit. I have a coralife light wth 2 bulbs in it.

I've used the 48" odyssea 4 x 65w PC w/ 4 led moonlights. Also used their 29" 250w MH w/ led's, and a 24" 2 x 65w PC fixture. So far the only problem I've ran into was the ballast on the MH fixture went out several months after initial purchase. Oh, and they forgot the splash guard on my 48" fixtue and the reflector rusted up very quickly. But as far as how they actually worked for me, had my 48" fixtuer going for 3 years now, 1.5 of that on one of my tanks, LPS dominated. Did very well, even with the odyssea bulbs.
All that said, my teklight 4 x 54w HO T5 fixture kicks all their butts easily. But I still put em all to use.

I would just get one good fixture, no need to clutter the top of your tank. JMO

Jebo products are absolute garbage and dangerous in some cases. I have heard of fires and malfunctions, please get something else for your safety.
