Help me with A couple questions about my MRC calium reactor
I am setting up an MRC 1 duel chamber.
It is set up with A mag 2 on the board. Do I have to keep A feed pump like A maxi jet always feeding it or is it just to get it primed and then the mag 2 takes over? Question 2 Why are you supposed to keep the PH between 6.6 and 7 range? Is that what the PH should be in your tank with A reactor? I just thought that was allitle low. I don't have A seperate chamber to put my probe in. Where should I measure PH from. It will be connected to my sump under my tank. Thanks for your help. |

Yes - I feed mine with a MJ1200. The Mag (or panworld in my case) just circulates the water in the reactor.
That Ph range is for the effluent, not your tank. Unfortunately on that reactor, you either have to purchase an adapter to insert your PH probe into, or just measure the effluent in a cup that then overflows into the sump. |
