our reef club holds a meeting every year where we make "reef goo" everyone who wants some brings an ingredient or 2 then we blend it up. and divide it up.....
we dont use this recipe exactly but it is close http://www.melevsreef.com/food.html

I generally use a blend of scallop, shrimp, cyclopeze, selcon and garlic.

Mine's a bit different each time, depending on what I find on special at the market or grocery store, but here's the basic recipe:
Fresh or frozen: 5 raw shrimp (I cut the tails off) 5-10 scallops 1c frozen seafood mix (octo, squid, mussel, shrimp, etc.) 1 fish fillet (anything from the ocean - this month it's ocean perch) Dried seaweed (dulce, wakame, nori, etc.) 1-3 cloves peeled raw garlic Flakes, pellets Selcon Kent Zoe vitamins Blend seafood until it's chunky (bite sized for fish), then remove some and reserve for later. Add the garlic and the seaweed (tear it up first) and continue to blend until your mix is chopped fine, nearly pureed. Then add the vitamins and selcon, mix in the reserved seafood chunks and dried foods (these will soak up the juices and vitamins) and you're done! Freeze in ice cube trays or flat in freezer bags, just break off what you need at feeding time.
