Best lighting configuration...
I am upgrading my stock Aquapod 24 compact flourescent lighting to a nanotuners 4 by 32 watt kit. I need to keep my hood, so metal halide lighting is out of the question. This is doubling my lighting output, installing a better reflector, plus giving me a better cooling system for the hood (supposedly).
I keep mainly soft corals but would like to eventually try some harder corals. My tank is doing well, but have heard that basically more light is better... My options are daylight bulbs (10000K), combo daylight and actinic, and pure actinic bulbs. What do you believe is the best way to configuration for the 4 new bulbs in the lighting package? Thanks for your input and advice.
