Powerhead Question...
Ok, there is a pump that has a rotating head on it to create water flow over a much wider area and with changing direction....can anyone tell me what that product is called. I saw one in my LFS, but did not get a name on it.
thanks |

I think you may be talking about ZooMed's Power Sweep?

You could also be talking about the Sea Swirl which takes the output from a return pump and changes direction by 90 degrees every minute.

Well, its not the Power Sweep....what I am talking about swirls around, not back and forth....I havent seen the function I am talking about on the Koralia, but I am still looking at the different models to make sure.

Ok, well, I see an illustration that is sort of what I saw at the LFS....just want to make sure that it rotates on its own and not that it is just capable of pointing in any direction.

Unfortunately didnt realize it was not usable on pumps over 310 gph. Guess I will just get one of those and a couple other Koralia for the corners.....too much on my 65?

Never ran BB, but I'd imagine that a couple K3's would probably be fine. VorTech makes a killer propeller pump too which is worth looking into
