is it possible???
hi guys :- )... nice forum been reading alot on your site but cannot find the defining answer to my question. i have a nice summer house that i am converting to cope with my ever growing hobby ( marines ) building a big fragging tank about 12 inches deep to frag xania and other similar pulsing corals which spread quite quickly in the tank, so i am now thinking about lighting apart from t5 which i keep my home tank under and metal halide, ive been given two flood lights each 70w (high pressure sodium) if these are normal white lights am i wasting my time even trying will be running a blue actinic also. any feed back appreciated.thanks

I would scrap the HPS, not very efficient in growing corals.
