hanging an aqualight pro

Last night i got my hands on a 24" Aqualight Pro 150W HQI Metal Halide/Compact Fluorescent w/ LED Moonlight fixture that was such a great deal i couldn't pass it up, 50 bucks!!! Well i thought it was a pendant fixture but its actually ment to have legs on it. Is there anyway other then getting the corallife hanging kit to hang it? My current pendant is the same size close to the same shape but uses one like this

Is there anyway i can modify the new one so i can use the old hangers from my pendant that no longer works correctly.
