What are these things on my glass and everywhere??
Can anyone ID this thing on my glass?
Its starting to appear all over the place on rocks sand and glass. Its very small. |

Are they little hard, crusty guys? Most likely spirobid worms and normal to be seen in a maturing tank.

Yeah, they'll thin out eventually on their own. You can scrape them off the glass on the viewing parts of the tank, but I've always just left mine be on the back and other areas I'm not looking through. They are harmless filter feeders.

Spirobid worms are encased in their own little hard, crusty spiral tube.

ah.... i don't have the camera with me...... could it be coralline algae?
Its very very flat and thin with only a tiny hole in the middle with no spiral. |
