Hi just chasing some good DIY ideas for a Kalk dripper I have been added Kalk water to my RO top up water but would like to try dosing straight into the sump at night to see if I get better results. Thanks Graham

i made a cheap tastic kalk reactor for under $20 that seems to be working really well. If your intersted. or get a IV dripper, you can use it on a container or an IV bag. I dripped from a 2 gallon sealed jar for a while.

For simplicity: I used to drip from a plastic Rubbermaid pitcher with valve and hose attached one inch up from the bottom. You dont want the drain at the bottom or the sediment will drain into your tank. You can easily set the drip rate and walk away.

Easy and very effective project. Get a jug and some IV line w/ valve (ask your vet). Cut off the end of the IV line that would connect to the bag. Drill a small hole in the jug an inch or two HIGHER than the bottom (so you don't get the settled kalk at the bottom). The hole should be slightly smaller than the IV line. Shove in the IV line. Silicone it in place (wiggle the line a little to get a decent seal). Done!

1 gallon water jug, couple feet of airline tubing, landscape drip emitter. Whole rig cost about $3 and ended up with 3 spare drip emitters.
