You want a unit with a Dow Filmtec 75 GPD RO membrane, 10" vertical DI canister and refillable cartridge, inline pressure gauge, handheld TDS meter not inline, RO bypass valve, carbon block like a Matrix Chlorine Guzzler in the 0.5 or 0.6 micron range and a high quality prefilter. Other things to consider are a Autoshutof valve if you plan to hook it up to a topoff system, pressure tank or reservoir, flush valve and an adjustable flow restrictor or capillary tube type that can be trimmed for an exact water ratio.
Don't waste money on small horizontal DI filters, no name membranes that claim 110 or 125 GPD or granular carbon filters. |
