water pump for nano cube
hello everyone. I currently have a nano cube 28 gl with 30 lbs of LS and 30lbs of LR. Seems like the water flow is not strong enough to blow off all all the poops and stuff off the sand and i have a lot of stuff on the surface. I have tried changing the angles of the head of it didn't help. The 2 pumps that came with the tank are running 266 gph each. are those 2 enough or should i upgrade? Can anyone recommmend a pump that will fit in the back that willl provide sufficient water flow to pick up all the crap on the sand but not too strong?
Thanks |

If they're really producing 266 gph of flow each, that should be enough. The surface of the water can be cleaned with some paper towels for the moment. I point a powerhead at the water surface to help with that problem.

On my 12g I use a MJ 600 with a MJ1200 impeller/housing. With a Koralia nano in the tank itself.
I have also used hydor seltz pumps, maybe one of those would fit in the 28, but I am not sure.
