Using sump before sillicone dries for 24hrs?

Does the sillicone leach anything before 24hrs? any ammonia or something else?

I definitely does but not sure if it is toxic or not or how toxic it is. It's acetic acid that is released that gives it that smell but there may be other compounds as well. Did you build a sump with it or repair one? Anyway, I wouldnt use it until fully cured. When I placed the glass back when I built plywood tanks I didnt place into service for atleast 72 hours. Not saying you need to wait that long but just make sure its cured, 24 hours isnt always enough time.
