HQI losing contact

I replaced my 250w HQI Hamilton bulb in my reefstar with a 250w S.P.S. bulb. It's been fine for 2 weeks and now it's not completely firing. I'm assuming due to gravity and not fitting tight since I flip it upside down and it ignites, but doesn't last 5 minutes when turned over again. Anyone know if I can tighten anything up in there without getting another Hamilton HQI?
