Tank Water is green
A friend of mine was having bad HA problems. He recently added a phosban reactor and is running phosban and also added a UV steralizer. A few days after starting the UV his tank water turned green! Any ideas what is going on? I suggested he run carbon which helped it a little. Today it's all green again. Any thoughts?

His green aquarium and my (formerly) black aquarium should start a club!
As for actually helping, I don't know... maybe turn off the lights for a couple days? |

That might be a thought. I'm guessing its algae free floating but I wonder if it's the HA letting go or a new algae?
