Has anyone had success feeding live baby brine shrimp in you reef tanks?
will the eggs hatch and live in the sump?

I've done it before, but they were hatched in a separate container not in the sump. Some of the fish went nuts for them and I noticed some corals reacting (sending out their sweepers to catch them). I don't think they will live in the tank, at least I've never seen any of the ones I've put in there live. For the most part when I turned the skimmer back on they disappeared quickly.

Yep i still hatch and feed it to my tank you will not be able to hatch them in your sump due to the stong current nor will they in the tank itself i hatch em in a 2L bottle
i Had bought a Hatch'N'Feeder awhile ago to grow em in the tank but the bubbles stuck to the containor making it quite bouant and it floated to the top of the tank and let all the eggs out... |
