1/2 inch X2 with a 1250 gph pump?

i have a posiden ps4 in the mail. its going into two 3/4 exits into the tank.
i wanted to use my 1/2 loc line Y into two 1/2 loc line for each exit. is this a bad idea?
should i just get the 3/4 loc line splits? or will two split (4) 3/4 lines be to much?
