I am using the dual chamber Octopus, it is by far the best calcium reactor I have ever used and it was way cheaper than other reactors. It was very well designed and made. The first chamber is designed so that only water flows through into the second chamber and the co2 gets recirculated in the first chamber. Also, the chambers are enormous, they could easily hold 12 pounds of media each. The only thing I don't like is that the Ph probe port is in the secong chamber, but after a few days of observation it seems that the first chamber ph is .4 lower than the second chamber so if you are using a controller you can adjust accordingly
