Heater in the sump, will it work?
On my new tank, I will only have 5x flow through my sump. Will heater s just in the sump be enough to keep the water in the display heated or will there be a big temperature difference between the display and sump?

I would think you would be fine unless you have a huge display and a tiny sump or they are in different ends of the house or something like that.

Haven't had any problems here. I think my sump is 6x display turnover.

Same as 20jlr basically, 2 300watt heaters, just put them on a Aqua Medic controller, love it, never had such consistant tank temps, rock solid 77*, should have bought one sooner.
