Flatworms Gone!

I just used Salfert flatworm exit and it works great!

i was worried because the flatworms release alot of toxins but i dont think i had enough in there to do damage.

if any one has problems with flat worms use this stuff its about 20 bucks and it works great really fast

good stuff

btw by about a pound of carbon per 50 gals and put it in your sump to filter

Though dendro has a valid point, it's quit rude to come in and make a comment, and not give any advise or help of what to look for or to do next.

It is true I to myself did a treatment of Flatworm exit on my frag tank as that was the only place a could see any flatworms. I searched hi and low and didn't see any flatworms anywhere. COOL, killed those suckers. About a week later I saw they were back and in epic proportions. So I treated again, this time I did the whole system. I ended up dosing about 2-3 times more than was recommended. Ran my carbon, did a big water change and viola, no more flatworms. I am glad to say, it has been about 3 months now and still not a single flatworm.

As the OP stated have lots of carbon and new water on hand, follow the directions, with the exception of knowing you may need to dose a little heavier.
Just an FYI I have a ton of corals, SPS LPS Softies, shrooms etc etc etc. And not a single animal of any kind was hurt.
Good luck with it if you have to use it.

I treated my tank twice about 10 days apart just to make sure. I also used about 50% more FWE than the directions state. Been 2 months now, havent seen a single flatworm!

I agree. I'd do another treatment in a week or so, and up the dosage.

Put a 6-line in my tank and he keeps the population under control.

Unhelpful - maybe, but not rude, as this statement...

Unhelpful - because I have no solution, and specially designed compound doesn't solves the problem 100%. Still have flatworms.

Now you have more to to make rude comments about.
I'm learned not to post
