Coralife Turbo-Twist 3X UV (requested reviews)

Just purchased a uv for my 80 gal reef tank. Really confused after vistiting my local FS. Two guys there said throw it away and invest in a ozonizer. I've seached the net and get mixed reviews. A friend suggested this site thru his experience. I have a Mag Drive 1200 in sump pump. My return is split into a double return. I'll have to reduce the return for dwell time in the UV off of one of the returns. I'm trying to save as much as possible and would maybe add an ozonizer later if needed. Has anyone had any experience with this UV it has a 9 watt bulb and is rated for up to 125 gallons???? Any help much appreciated,
