lighting schedules?

I was wondering what others are running for their light schedules. I have a 125 with a few softies… Xenia, mushrooms, GSPs, …etc I have around 325 watts of PC lights. I run actinics from 2:00 – 11:00 and 10k bulbs from 3:00 – 10:00. lately I’ve had some algae blooms which I’m hoping my UV Sterilizer will calm once I get a new bulb. Im just looking to get others opinions on lighting schedules.

Have you been getting quality skimmate? Your algae bloom, while is assisted w/ lighting, is more the product of insufficient wter flow, or skim.

I have never had a lot of skimmate ... maybe 1/2 a cup of thick gunk a week, so I recently tore it apart & cleaned it out. now I've been getting 3/4 of a cup of thick nastyness every couple days.

I know that when I switched from a couple of maxi-jets, to a couple of koralia's, the increase in water flow made a big difference in decreasing any algae blooms
