Unhappy Advice Needed. Arco Stoney Coral Is Dead!

Ok, i have purchased a arco stag coral. It was doing fine for the fiest few days. One day a mexican snail knocked over and it fell into my neon green frogspwan.

I am guessing it was in there for about 8 hrs. When i got home, i have taken it out from the frogspwan.

Now has already been 2 days, the acro is turning all white. I think is either dying or already dead. And if it is already dead. Do i need to take him out?

Will it do any harm leaving it in the tank? Thanks

You can leave it in without any issues but consider it gone.

With the info you gave it sounds to me like you don't have enough knowledge to keep any sps corals . Theses are corals that are kept by advance aquarist. They need high light ,and alot of flow ,and perfect water stability.
If you only have a tank thats one month old, like stated above then the only chance of saving the coral is to seek someone locale that would take it , and hope it recovers.
I took my first mistaken purchase to a friend that owned a fish shop and it still lives in his tank today.
Slow down and learn the ropes of keeping a reef by reading all that you can.
Until then move it to a place in the tank that has great flow, but not direct flow ,and I would keep it no more than halfway up in the tank.
Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Well, I didn't know how to update my info. But my tank has been up for about 5 months now. I do have some stoney corals (Purple Birdnest, Motipora Danae) that I kept for well over 2 months now and it is doing great.

My water condition is very stable. I just believe the arco didn't make it because it got injured by the frog spawn.

Not to mention, my frogspwan hasen't been fully since the acro fell into it.

LPS corals can kill/destroy SPS corals.

If your going to keep both in the same tank you should really dedicated one side to lps and sofites, and the other side to sps.
