Hair algae

I have a bad out break of hair algae. Nothing I am using seems to get it under control. I have used sea bunnies algae blennies and mexican turbo snails. How long do I have to keep my lights off to kill it and will that kill my corals?

If it came on the live rock then that means your live rock is leaching phosphates. I would suggest "rock cooking." I would also suggest running carbon and phosphate media through a reactor. Weekly water changes of 25% would help also.
