Versa Top Question
So was organizing all of the boxes of stuff I have got for my new aquarium and noticed that I have a Versa Top that most have been thrown in as part of a package at my LFS. Do I need to or should I be using this?
Sorry for the dumb question. |

What's a Versa Top? In general, aquarium covers can reduce evaporation, but also limit gas and heat exchange. Some setups are fine with them; others overheat.

I have one on my tank. They are nice because my evaportation isn't nearly as bad as it would be without it.

It's your choice if you plan on using it. It does cut down on evaporation though
