remora protein skimmer

when i bought the remora skimmer it came with a black box for i guess extra skimming? But i dont know how to use. i would put pictures but i dont know how, im not a nerd e person

Pre skimmer, fits onto the intake of your protein skimmer. Helps get all the proteins from the top of your tank. I don't know how to use it I would think that it would click onto your pump though!

just make sure you don't over tighten the screws that hold it to the pump, the pump housing isn't very thick and can be damaged
