Nice tank Vince. Let's see how long it takes before the stonies are introduced to it.

Thanks everyone.

Cato, no kidding. I've already got a bunch of frags near the top. LOL

Well, not much has changed othen than all the xenia died except for one clump of elongota which seems like its going to stay awhile. I just rewired under the tank this weekend and cleaned it up so I'm happy about that. Also finally hooked up the second timer controlling the daylight bulbs.

I'm not too happy about my aquascaping. I'm thinking I'm going to redo it this week. I want to have somewhat of an open area in the center for the fish to swim through.

I recently ran into lots of problems on my 29 sps tank and after breaking it down I've moved all its inhabitants into this tank. Here are some shots of the newcomers:

Here's a sweet coral I won in the last club raffle. Thanks NASO.

Sweet tank Vince! Looking really good! I am guessing we will get to see some frags in the near future?

When did you pick up the tang? Bob's? How's it doing?

Thanks Dave,

I got the tang from Rich (erickrm) with the intention of placing it in my 120 after I tested it in my 29 sps system to see if it had a liking for bryopsis. It didn't, but it hasn't made it over to the 120 yet. I'm hoping to do so soon.

How is this tank being filtered? Only by the Refuge/overflow?! I have a similar cube in size and mine never looked that great. What are you dosing as well? Thanks,

Rich, thanks. I need to take some pictures of some stuff. It hasn't changed much since those pics other than things look better. Seriously though, other than a little cyano that is in one area on the sand bed that tank is cruising. I really still need to reaquascape. I have some ideas, just not the time. The worse thing about it is I'm now mounting monti frags near the top so they'll have to be moved when things change.

That orange plate I won in the raffle (NASO's plate) is growing quicker than I expected. Either that or its moving as its now up against the glass.

Fishboy,

Yes, just the refuge/overflow. I have about 8 lbs or so of LR rubble in there. Other than that its 1 power head and the return from the overflow. This is a fairly new system, so who knows what the long run tank will look like. I based it on the same setup I had for my 10 gallon nano. As long as I do regular water changes and make sure the sandbed gets enough food things should take care of themselves or so I hope.

thanks,

here are a few shots of updates. I've lost all the xenia. I'm thinking in a couple months I'll try another frag and see if it likes the slightly aged system.

Here's my American DJ outlets wired up.
[IMG][/IMG]

a full tank shot. The coralline is starting to cover everything like it did in the 10 gallon. not sure if I should be happy or bummed.

Time for another update. Got some more corals and the tank is progressing. coralline is really starting to get everywhere.

[IMG][/IMG]

This gorg I picked up a few weeks ago. Its already repaired all its tips that were bare and is eating well. I've never seen anything like it before.

[IMG][/IMG]

These pics were taken right after a feeding so lots of particulates in the water column.
