Water Flow? How much..

for a 30 gallon tank. I have two Aqua Clear Power heads (30). What is the average turnover we should shoot for? 6-10 times turnover or more?

The usual lower limit would be 10x, for most animals, or at least 300 gph. Acropora, for example, would do better with much more flow. What animals are going into the system?

damn. that seems like a lot.

I'm looking at getting the Koralia pumps. I'm guessing two smaller pumps are better than just one big one.

I am running around 33x in my 120g and know many guys who run way more than that in their SPS tanks. Flow is good for the tank. Keeps moving nutrients to corals, waste away from them, kicks up fish waste/detritus off the bottom and allows it to get to your skimmer. Flow is your friend.
