Name this Snail (ID, Photo Inc)
Maybe a bumblebee that's got some issues with shell growth? It has an Antennae like a Nassarius. (Note: That 'antennae' in the photo is some hermit waste, but there really is an antennae there when it's out).
 And yes, I know I have lots of algae! =) Snails, Crabs and the Refuge are slowly working on that. |

I agree, looks like a bumble bee snail. By the way, the stalks of algae are Neomeris annulata. They are a calcium based macro algae. I pulled 2 out of 3 of my stalks before I found that out. I think they are cool.

Oh yeah, I'm not pulling out those stalks. I've actually got 1 rock with a clump of 20 or so on it.
 I meant the green hair algae all over the rocks. I've got a lot of another type of scrolling algae, something like Padina. There's got to be a good 20 or so of those in my tank also.

Nah, it's not a bumblebee snail, which is a buccinid, it's a miter, Mitra paupercula. It should feed on tiny worms that it finds in/on your live rock.
