peppermint shrimp and aiptasia

how good are peppermint shrimp at eating aiptasia? i have a 180 gallon with around 125 pounds of live rock probably with over 40 aiptasia growing on it. Will 10 peppermint shrimp be enough to take care of the aiptasia?

They should eat the smaller ones. Your number is good. You'll have better success if there is nothing in the tank that you are feeding. The shrimp will eat the other food instead of the aiptasia.

mine were nocturnal, you couldnt find them in the LR in the day hours. the next morning the aps started slowly disappearing. within a couple of days when all the aps were gone, they started coming out to eat the leftover cyclop-eeze, plankton and brine shrimp before the crabs got to it!

OH! BTW, they breed like rabbits too!
