Wrasses bad?
Ok I was told onhere by a few people to get some wrasses went to the lfs to get a fish today My wife pointed out a nice yellow and purple wrasse I ask the fish guy he said it will eat all my other fish?
is this true?

What type of wrasse was it?

ricky this seems to be happening alot to you ---see something you like for you tank and take the LFS's word for it.
What I did was buy the book---Marine fishes by Scott Michael It is pocketbook size and I take it with me alone with the book Marine Invertebrates which is alos a pocketbook You can look the fish up right well you are there and it will tell you all about it and whether it is reef safe etc

In fact a month ago I asked a salesman in BA's a question about a fish. What does he do--whips out the same pocket book out of his back pocket to check out his answer for me LOL

this is actually a vote of confidence for me--too many times salesmen tell you stuff off the top of their heads and it could be totally wrong. At least this guy was looking it up from a good source and admitting he didn't know instead of BS'ing me
