I think I know the answer but still want feedback
I need to move my large bubble coral, mushrooms, and a small rock of zoas to a temporary home. I have a 10 gallon that I could put them in.
If I took 8 gallons of water and several pieces of rock from my 58g. and put them in the 10g., along with 1-2 gallons of fresh water, would the corals be ok? The 10g. will have a heater and 1 powerhead, and if needed a small, in-the-tank skimmer. I doubt that the tank would cycle but I just wanted to ask to make sure. I would like to sell these corals but I don't have pics yet and they need a temporary home. So, any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should be fine... the shouldn't cycle. Don't forget to give them light though, I didn't see it mentioned.

Yes, I have a light for it so that part is ok. Thanks for your input, I just wanted to be sure. I have had my bubble coral for over 3 years and I would be REALLY upset if it didn't make it.

I would just be real carful with the heater. 10 gal. doesn't give too much margin for error
