white worms ??

Last night I noticed some white worms spiraling up and down in the tank. The spiral to the surface and then drift down back to the bottom. They are less than one centimeter at the largest and at rest on the rock are a cream/white color. I have never seen them before last night.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
kre

sounds almost like some type of nematode or larva of sorts. I've found similar sounding wormies in one of my freshwater systems a while back, i think they were some type of gnat larva or something, never did figure it out and the Discus in that tank took em out really quick.

It sounds like your bristleworms are breeding. These swarmers are modified versions or just segments of adult worms that are full of gametes and modified for swimming.

Current Tank Info: tore them down to move and haven't had the time or money to set them back up
