How do I stop microbubbles?????

I have a XP4 canister filter running carbon, and LR in my 60 gallon cube. I notice that at about 3PM every day the tank starts to get microbubbles coming out of the filter. The filter runs 24-7, and in the morning the water is crystal clear. The bubbles follow the timing of the MH lighting, seems like after about 5 hours under the halides, the micro bubbles appear. Any idea why this happens. and/or what to do you fix it?
Thanks!

Do not know why, but filter socks stop it, just change and wash about every 3 days, also everything is more noticable when the MH are on!

I thought it might be related to the algae photosynthesis?

where do you put the filter sock? Inside the filter?

I put mine on the end of the drain hose, since my pubbles originate there when them come into my sump. i also puta micron bag over the output of my skimmer. helps trap them and gives them more time do disappear and less time to get sucked back into the return pump. Is your canister HOB, or do it have it on a sump? if its on the main tank, im not sure what you'd be able to do. try and see why you are getting air bubbles in the first place...maybe on their way in...microbubbles are an indication of air
