Thinking of buying automatic drip doser system (How many things should I be dosing)
Hey all, I have come to the conclusion that although my reef is doing ok, I am never going to be effecient enough to add the weekly doses of calcium, mag. etc to the tank to make it thrive liek it could. I have seen a KENT simple dosing system that is cheap. It's basically a small container you can hang on the wall above the sump with a drip tube/adjuster to adjust amount being dripped in. I was curious how many I would really need. What do you all regulary dose other than calcium for a mixed reef with SPS?

I run a auto dose pump with a two part system A & B. I've tried the drip method and I personally didn't like it over time mineral buildup would slow or stop the drip making it a inaccurate dosing method. Before you buy just make one very easy.U can use a air injector valve that comes with most powerheads for the drip adjuster.
Any other supplement I add like potassium I still do buy hand. |
