High Nitrates

Ive got 100 pounds LR, MH lighting, running nitrasorb, and doing 10 gal water changes every week like clockwork. Why are my nitrates still in the 10-20 ppm's. Once I upgrade from the canister to a sump will they get better?

There is your answer. Dump the canister, add a sump, and throw some cheato in there and you will never have nitrate problems again.

I am dealing with high nitrates as well with only 3 fish and 2 nems in my 75. I high nitrates are affecting my clams. I am dumping the bios and adding chaeto. A little at a time of course.
