ETSS Skimmers?
Hi guys,]
I was considering one of these AETech skimmers: The Sump Buddy or the Reef Devil Deluxe. I may need to go in-sump due to size constraints under my 48" x 24" stand. My sump is 36"x 18"x18". Tank is Oceanic 120 Tech series. Seemed ETSS skimmers were cutting edge years back. How are they thought of now? URL for Sump Buddy: http://www.superskimmer.com/SumpBuddy40.htm Reef Devil Deluxe: http://www.superskimmer.com/RDD.htm Thank you for your help. Dave |

I still think that ETSS is still one of the better skimmers you can get these days. Sure, they eat a bit more power than some of the newer skimmers out, but they do there job well. I have a Protean 400 on the way (sump buddy 40) and will let you know how it performs, but based on my previous experience with the ETSS 600, I have great expectations.
