What is the recommended flow rate for a 120 gallon....I know the higher the gph the better but what flow range should I consider when it comes to my setup?????

Is this going to be a reef tank? If so what do you plan on keeping for corals, they all demand differnt flow ratings.

To give you an idea, you should have atlest 30 times tank turn over an hour.

I would still look at about 30 times of turn over an hour.

Return from the sump should be at least 5x(ie 600gph. Overall flow should be 10x ot 50x depending on what you are keeeping
